About Our Lomi Loaded

What separates lomi from every other noodle soup is the body. The broth is thickened until it coats the back of a spoon, so the fat egg noodles hold onto it instead of swimming in it. We build ours on the same long-simmered stock that runs through our pares menu, then season it until it is deeply savoury rather than salty.

Loaded means exactly that: a generous pile of meat and toppings across the whole surface of the bowl. It is easily the most filling thing on our menu and one of the most popular orders for groups sharing a table on Sargent Avenue. Add chili oil if you want a bit of a kick cutting through the richness.

What does “Loaded” mean?

Loaded is our fully topped version — the bowl comes covered in meat and toppings rather than served plain. It is the biggest lomi we make.
